Important Announcement – AAAC Closing August 31, 2025 – Dr. Wexler and Dr. Karasov Will Continue Care at New Locations
Dear Valued Advancements in Allergy and Asthma Care (AAAC) Patients,
We are writing to share some difficult and sad news. After extensive consideration, Advancements in Allergy and Asthma Care (AAAC) will be permanently closing its doors on August 31, 2025. While it is difficult to share this news, we are encouraged about the future and that patients may continue to receive care from Dr. Wexler and Dr. Karasov as noted below.
Over the last several years, independently owned small medical practices like ours have encountered mounting financial challenges driven by a combination of rising costs and inadequate reimbursement rates. Despite our earnest efforts to navigate these difficulties, we unfortunately are not immune from these challenges. This impact has made it impossible to remain financially viable and to operate at the staffing levels needed by AAAC to offer the highest quality of care.
We plan to provide full patient services through Friday, August 29, 2025. We anticipate patient schedules to fill quickly. If you need a follow-up appointment, please contact us promptly at 952-546-6866 to schedule a visit. Existing allergy shot patients are welcome to continue walk-in allergy shot injections. We encourage patients to contact their pharmacy for medication refill requests.
Beginning September 2025, our providers will continue to see patients, albeit at different locations unaffiliated with AAAC:
Dr. Wexler, Pam McNallan and Molly Love will be joining Ridgeview Medical Center (952-361-2458) at their Chaska location.
Dr. Karasov will be joining St. Paul Allergy (651-698-0386), at their Highland location.
Kristin Larson will be joining Allergy & Asthma Center of MN (612-444-3247), at their new location in Minnetonka (same building as AAAC).
27 Years of Top Doctor
Congratulations to Dr. Michael Wexler who has been recognized as a 2024 Top Doctor by Mpls./St. Paul Magazine. This is Dr. Wexler's 27th year earning this recognition! AAAC is grateful for Dr. Wexler's dedication to his patients, staff, and his expertise and leadership in the clinic!
