That feeling as a parent when you go trick or treating, get home, go through the candy and discover it is not all allergy friendly or even that you have more candy then any kid needs. How do you handle this and keep it a positive experience for everyone?
Introducing the Switch Witch. The Switch Witch is a friend who comes around and can exchange your child's Halloween candy for a gift. Children can put their unwanted candy out Halloween night and wake up in the morning to see what gift the Switch Witch has left in exchange for their candy. The goal of the Switch Witch is to make the holiday enjoyable for all and inclusive for all. It doesn't matter what the reason, every child can participate in the Switch Witch tradition.

Finding the right Halloween event or events can be haunting for parents. Will it be too scary, what day of the week is it, inside or outside, age appropriate. Adding in food allergies to this mix only increases the stress around Halloween for kids and parents. We compiled a small list of Allergy Friendly events in the Twin Cities for 2018 to help keep Halloween fun for all.
